Community Service Projects

The following Service projects are in progress/ undertaken by Volunteers of Sri Saibaba Temple Society of Ohio:

Hot Meal Serving @ Friends of Homeless – Every 2^nd Second Sunday of the Month
- This service activity has been going on for the last 6 years. A group of interested volunteers have started this activity. Primarily this activity consist of making a hot meal (vegetarian) at home and serve to the needy (~100 people) @ Friends of Homeless Shelter, Main Street, Columbus Ohio on every second Sunday evening of every month (rain or shine or snow). New/Used Clothes Collection and send it to needy organizations in India
- This service activity has been in progress for the last 2 years. Over 100 boxes of used/new clothes were collected and sent to the needy organizations in India. As part of this service activity, devotees can donate used (usable) or new clothes, which will be packed and send it to needy charitable organizations in India. Electronic (Computers etc) Recycling
- This service activity has been in progress for the last 2 years. As part of this service activity, Society receives unused computers from devotees donations, reuse the parts and reassemble them to bring into working condition (is possible), and donate to needy. . General Volunteer Services at Mandir
- Sri Saibaba Mandir operations and activities of Sri Saibaba Temple Society matters are being run by volunteers and by two priests, who are on payroll. In order to better serve the devotee and at large community, this society always needs your volunteer time (either 1 hour or 2 hours) at any time to make things going on smoothly at Mandir. If you or your family members (particularly youth & children above 14 years of age) would like to lend any help, please contact ec@srisaimandir.org or @ 614-799-8411

Sri Sai Baba Temple Society of Ohio always encourages all devotees to participate voluntarily in these service activities.
